<p>LinkedIn builds relationships that need to be nurtured so they can move from business acquaintance to customer and/or active referral agent.  You can export your contacts from LinkedIn into your email marketing software and start a gentle (no hard selling) email campaign.  Make sure your emails are relevant and add value to your audience.  As the relationship strengthens you can start making overt offers that lead to sales.</p>
<p>You can also add a LinkedIn icon to all of your emails so people can link to your profile and want to connect with you.  This strategy leverages both channels to build a strong sales channel.</p>
